The holidays can often be a time where grief and loss feel louder and more tender. They hold joy and heartache, presence and absence. There are missing place settings, empty chairs, and extra helpings of tenderness. This Remembrance Circle, guided by Jennifer Martin and held on the Winter Solstice, offers a soft place to land and find connection, comfort, and community — especially during this tender season. Our time together will include a fireside conversation, where we can share a favorite moment about those we are missing during the holidays, an exploration of ways we might remember them in a holiday ritual, and a short practice with somatic tools to support the body to settle when overwhelmed.
